Welcome to Ristorante La Baracca Sas, an exceptional dining destination nestled in the picturesque town of Volano, Italy. Located on Via Volano Centro, this restaurant stands out as a beacon of culinary excellence in the area, celebrated for its remarkable seafood offerings.
The warmth of the atmosphere at La Baracca immediately sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. Balancing tradition and modern flair, the restaurant's decor complements the authentic flavors that await. Guests are treated to an extensive menu designed to highlight the bounties of the sea, with each dish crafted to showcase the vibrant tastes of the region.
Patrons rave about the menu, particularly the grilled platter—a feast that has left many diners, including Malgorzata Mazurek, in awe. Even those who are not fond of fish find themselves enchanted by its flavors. For a true taste of coastal Italian cuisine, the mixed grill of seafood comes highly recommended, featuring a medley of tantalizing dishes. From marinated anchovies to Catalan-style crustaceans, every bite promises to transport you to the shores of Italy.
However, it’s not just the seafood that garners attention. Ian Forrest reminisces fondly about his past experiences at La Baracca, emphasizing its status as possibly the finest seafood restaurant within 100 kilometers. This reputation is well-earned, though there's notable feedback on certain dishes like the risotto, where the flavor of the eel can be overshadowed by the cheese; or the grilled prawns that might not always hit the mark in freshness. Such observations underline the restaurant's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, as the owner, Mr. Caesar, tirelessly attends to patrons, ensuring their experience remains enjoyable.
Despite some reviews pointing out minor flaws, the overall sentiment remains overwhelmingly positive. Guests appreciate the affordable pricing and the chance to indulge in authentic Italian fare. As Gian Luca Bonora noted, enjoying a dinner with friends at La Baracca becomes a memorable occasion, marked by camaraderie and delightful culinary experiences.
As you consider your next dining venture, look no further than Ristorante La Baracca Sas. Here, every dish tells a story, each corner of the restaurant invites you to linger, and the flavors of Italy are served fresh and vibrant. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special celebration, La Baracca promises a delightful escape into the heart of Italian dining. Don’t miss your chance to savor the essence of the sea and enjoy a dining experience that is as memorable as it is delicious.

Nice dinner with friends, we chose starters, only one first to taste all together and the mixed grill of seafood. All good, definitely, with special mention for the marinated anchovies, the Catalan-style crustaceans, the appetizer of mussels and clams, grilled eel and turbot. In the risotto with eel cheese flavour was very strong and covered the taste of the eel, moreover rice was very overcooked. The prawns grilling were hard, perhaps not the freshest. Good sorbet, coffee too long. I will be back. Congratulations to Mr. Caesar, who alone runs across the hall. Prices in the average.
